Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be greeted by a safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Enjoy a relaxing evening and prepare for the adventure ahead. You can also opt for a complimentary guided tour of the city.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
Your day begins with an early morning pickup from the lodge, followed by a scenic journey to Tarangire National Park, with a packed lunch provided. Known for its vast elephant herds and diverse landscapes ranging from seasonal swamps to savanna, Tarangire offers opportunities to spot lions, leopards, and more. After the game drive, you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Days 3-4: Serengeti National Park
Departing after breakfast, you will head to the iconic Serengeti National Park. Enjoy lunch within the park and spend the afternoon on a game drive en route to your camp. The following day will be dedicated to a full-day game drive in the Serengeti, famed for its migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest, as well as resident predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, set off for a game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, equipped with lunch boxes. This park, featuring the world’s largest uninterrupted caldera, is one of Africa’s natural wonders. Home to about 30,000 large mammals including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as a variety of birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards, Ngorongoro offers a rich wildlife experience in a compact area.
Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, journey to Lake Manyara for a game drive with a packed lunch. Known for its tree-climbing lions and numerous baboon colonies, the park provides a unique wildlife viewing experience. After the drive, return to Arusha for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure from Arusha
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the lodge, followed by some relaxation. If time permits, you can go on a short shopping tour in Arusha before transferring to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airports for your departure.
