Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro (or Arusha) International Airport, our guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha for an overnight stay. You may choose to explore Arusha city with our guide at no extra cost. Be sure to rest well for your safari adventure beginning tomorrow!

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your day begins early with a pickup from the lodge, starting a scenic journey to Tarangire National Park. You will carry a packed lunch to enjoy en route.

Tarangire is renowned for its impressive elephant herds and diverse landscapes, ranging from seasonal swamps to savannah plains. Keep an eye out for lions on the hunt or leopards lounging in the trees. After an exhilarating game drive, you will head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, you will travel to the central Serengeti for a game drive. Enjoy lunch within the park and continue your exploration into the afternoon before arriving at your camp.

The Serengeti is famed for its vast migrating herds of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests. Prepare to witness resident predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions playing their roles in the circle of life.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, journey to the northern Serengeti and the Mara River to witness the Great Migration. Your safari guide will locate the optimal viewing spot.

The Great Migration, the largest movement of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals, involves crossing the Mara River into the Masai Mara in Kenya. The best time to observe this phenomenon is from July to early October.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Rise early and enjoy breakfast before continuing your game drive to view the Great Migration. Later, return to the central park area for another overnight stay.

Once again, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the incredible spectacle of the Great Migration, with the best sightings typically from July to early October.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, proceed to the Ngorongoro Crater, carrying lunch boxes for another day of game drives.

Ngorongoro boasts the world’s largest unbroken caldera and is a natural wonder of Africa. Home to approximately 30,000 large mammals year-round, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, it also hosts a diverse bird population.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara National Park

Post-breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara with lunch boxes. After the game drive, you will return to Arusha for an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara is notable for its tree-climbing lions and large baboon troops. Baboons will likely be your companions from the moment you enter the park!

Day 8: Arusha

Enjoy breakfast and relax at the lodge. If time permits, take a brief tour of Arusha for some shopping. Later, you will be transferred to the airport, concluding your adventure.
